Where we're from and what we do:
JBC Plastic Fabricators, LLC was founded in 1997 by John and Cheryl McGrath. John has over thirty years experience in plastic forming and fabrication. JBC Plastic Fabricators began after Willco Plastics Inc., John's employer for 14 years, closed it's doors after 30 years of business. As most of Willco Plastics' repeat customers had worked with John, as manager of the company for the final 5 years, it was an easy transition for them to continue their business relationship.
At JBC we start with plastic sheet, rod, tube, slab, extrusion, or castings and work from our customer's engineering drawings, rough sketches, or verbal representations to produce finished products. The processes used include, yet are not limited to, sawing, routing, milling, planing, drilling, turning, engraving, bending, drape forming, vacuum forming, pressure forming, sanding, wheel polishing, flame polishing, solvent cementing, gluing, and mechanically fastening. See our Products and Services page for examples of items produced to our customer's custom specifications.
We offer our customers free consultation as to which materials and processes would best suit the requirements of their project and usually can offer several options stating the advantages and disadvantages of each.
After local distributors started minimum purchase requirements, JBC filled an unmet need in the St. Louis area by offering small order plastic materials and fabricating supplies to the retail market. As it became too difficult to keep up with fluctuating prices and stocking items our online catalog was removed from the web site in 2012. We still offer small order, cut to size materials and fabricating supplies per request, contact us to inquire what you are looking for.
